Jim Dabney's Page
| Jim grew up on a 15,000 acre cattle ranch in Wyoming.
He became a rock DJ when he was 16 because his speech
teacher recommended him to the local radio station owner.
Jim has been involved in radio now for 30 straight years
and is a partner in a 100,000 watt FM station in Wyoming. In 1990, Jim moved to Pennsylvania as the manager of WRSC/97 Quick and Lyon Country Video in State College. He has been with Dame Media, Inc. since April 1991 when he came to Williamsport to manage KISS-FM and WRAK. Jim is married to the former Lisa Smith of Bedford, Pennsylvania. They have four children, Tara, Ryan, Coulter, and Olivia. Lisa taught school for 13 years, grades K through 6, and is currently enjoying being a full time Mom. Being active in the community is a natural for Jim. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Williamsport Chamber of Commerce, and is on the Board of Trustees of Covenant Central Presbyterian Church. He's also a member of the Little League 50th Anniversary Celebration Committee (you can listen to the Little League World Series on WRAK!) and, along with Lisa, is a certified Stephen Minister at Covenant Central.
