The Veterans of the Vietnam War, Inc. (VVnW for short) was founded in 1980 by a group of veterans to provide information and services to veterans not easily obtained elsewhere.  VVnW’s goal is to serve not only veterans of the Vietnam War era, but ALL veterans - anyone who served in the armed forces of the United States at any time.

VVnW is supported entirely by contributions from caring individuals across America whose generosity enables a variety of essential programs and services for veterans and their families.  For example, VVnW:

• assists, counsels, and rehabilitates homeless veterans
  through United Veterans Beacon House Projects
   

• trains Veterans Service Officers to cut through red
  tape and process claims for veterans to receive the benefits they earned and need
   

• advocates with Congress for legislation on all matters effecting veterans and their families
   

• maintains Find-A-Vet database and locator service to reunite those who served together
